A Vestry Morning will be held on the Saturday 9th June 2012 from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Come along to the church and book your wedding, christening, blessing or renewal of vows or simply to meet the vicar.
We are also holding a mini-mart while the Church is open for the Vestry Morning.
A mini-mart is a kind of indoor car-boot sale.

The date of the next meeting of the Friends of Leverington Church will be 31st May at 7.30pm in the church.
The art exhibition that we hosted in Leverington Church at the end of April/beginning of May was a success with 133 entries.
Scaffolding protected by corrugated iron sheeting has been erected around the porch. Work is in progress to repair the Parvis Room roof.

Our church is located on the Gorefield Road in Leverington, just north-east of Wisbech off the B1169. Some people have claimed that it is one of the finest historic churches in the county. It certainly has a long history, since there was a wooden church here possibly by about 850, after the original Viking invaders converted to Christianity. There seems to be evidence that a stone church had been built by about 1150.

* In months where there are five Sundays the service on the fifth Sunday is rotated between the three churches in the benefice (Leverington, Newton, and Tydd St Giles).

The church roof and spire can be lit for special occasions or to remember a loved one. We ask for a donation; we suggest £10 in winter and £5 in summer. If you wish to book the lights then please contact one of the churchwardens
